Copy & paste is a computer command that enables you to copy and paste contents such as text, images, links, and other data from one location to another. The function temporarily stores the copied information in a place that is invisible to the user (usually the clipboard) and then pastes it to the desired location.

How to copy & paste inline images into LiveAgent tickets
Please follow these instructions to insert inline images into the body of your email tickets.
- Log in to LiveAgent.
- Click on the plus button on the upper right-hand side of the screen (next to your profile picture).

3. Click on New Ticket.

4. Fill out the recipient’s email address and subject line.
5. You can select the email address from which your email will be sent and the department to which this ticket will be assigned.
6. Write the body of your email.
7. Click on the HTML button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

8. Locate the picture that you want to place in your email and select it.
9. Press the keyboard buttons Ctrl and C or Command and C if you’re on Mac to copy the image.
10. Navigate back to your opened LiveAgent ticket. Next, click on the part of the email where you want to paste the inline image.
11. Paste the image using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl and V, or Command and V if you’re on Mac.

What do inline copied & pasted images look like in emails?
If you copy and paste an inline image into the body of an email, the recipient will view it like this:

Follow these instructions to quickly add attachments to your email tickets using the copy and paste function.
- Log in to LiveAgent.

What do copied & pasted images and files look like in emails?
If they’re not pasted inline, they will look like regular email attachments. There’s no difference between copy and pasting images and files or attaching them regularly via the attach button.
