How can I recover my lost password?
If you forgot your Viber password, follow the steps below to recover your Viber password:
- Go to the Viber Login Page
- Click on the ‘Forgot Password?"
- It will bring you to the password reset section asking for your mobile number connected with the Viber account. Enter your mobile number.
- Click on “Continue”
- Enter the code sent to your registered mobile number. You may also verify the code via voice call.
- Click the “Continue” button again.
- It will provide you a password reset form which you can use to reset your Viber password.
How to set up Viber?
- Open Viber on your Phone.
- Tap “Continue” on the Welcome screen.
- Enter your phone number (without the first zero). If your country code isn’t shown automatically, or it’s wrong, you will need to update it manually.
You will either:
- Automatically receive a 6-digit code via an SMS or a phone call. You don’t have to answer the call.
- Need to choose if you want to receive the code via SMS or a phone call. This time answer the call.
- Codes received through an automated call will be entered automatically, allowing you to proceed to the next step. If you received your code in an SMS or through a phone call (that you picked up), you will need to manually enter the code.
- Fill in the details of your profile.
How to backup your Viber chat history?
To back up your Viber chat history on your phone:
- Connect Viber to your Google Drive (Android) or iCloud (iPhone).
- Open Viber and go to More > Settings > Account > Viber Backup.
- Choose to manually back up your chat history, or turn on auto backup to save your data daily, weekly, or monthly.
