How to create your first video?
To create a new video:
- Tap + at bottom of the screen.
- Upload content from your device Library or use the TikTok camera.
- Add Sounds, Effects, Filters, or other camera tools.
- Start your video by pressing the Record button.
- Record your content.
- Tap the check mark.
- Make additional edits on the post page.
- Post your video!
I have been shadowbanned, what do I do?
If you have been shadowbanned:
Check the community guidelines to see if you have violated any rules, delete any inappropriate content, and check your account’s analytics for hashtags that may violate guidelines. If these steps don’t work, wait a few more weeks or contact TikTok customer service. If your account was suspended due to age restrictions, provide ID proof to verify your age to TikTok customer support.
How to recover my lost password?
To reset a password while logged in:
- Tap Profile in the bottom right
- Tap the 3-line icon in the top right
- Tap Manage account > Password
- Follow instruction to reset your password
To reset a password when you are not logged in:
- Tap ‘Sign up"
- Tap “Log in” at the bottom of the page
