Common problems and solutions
How to recover my Apple ID password?
Use your own device to reset your password
On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch with watchOS 8 or later
- Go to Settings.
- Tap [your name] > Password & Security > Change Password.
- If you’re signed into iCloud and have a passcode enabled, you’ll be prompted to enter the passcode for your device.
- Follow the onscreen steps to update your password.
On your Mac with macOS Catalina or later
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Apple ID.
- Click Password & Security. If you’re asked to enter your Apple ID password, click Forgot Apple ID or password and follow the instructions. You can skip the final step below.
- Click Change Password, then enter the password you use to unlock your Mac.
Use someone else’s device to reset your password
You can reset your Apple ID password on a friend or family member’s device using the Apple Support app or the Find My iPhone app.
Use the Find My iPhone app
- Open the Find My iPhone app.
- When a Sign In screen appears, make sure the Apple ID field is empty. If you see someone else’s user name, erase it.
- Tap Forgot Apple ID or Password, then follow the onscreen steps.
If you can’t change or reset your password
If you tried the previous steps and were unable to change or reset your password, try these steps instead.
- Go to iforgot.apple.com.
- Enter your Apple ID. Did you forget your Apple ID?
- Select the option to reset your password, then choose Continue.
- Choose to answer your security questions, get an email, or enter your Recovery Key.
- Follow the onscreen steps to reset your password.
After you reset your password, you’ll be asked to sign in again with your new password. You also might need to update your password in Settings on your devices.
If you permanently lost your Recovery Key or access to your trusted device, you can’t change your password.
How to Return an Item?
To return an item to Apple, follow these steps:
- Go to the Order Listing page and sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- From the list of items from your recent orders, select the item you want to return.
- Click the Start a Return link and click Get Started.
- Confirm the items you want to return and click Initiate Your Return.
- Print the shipping and any required labels by clicking Print Return Label. Repeat for additional boxes.
- Schedule a pickup with the carrier or drop off the package at a carrier location. If returning an item over $2,500 from Puerto Rico to the continental U.S., follow additional steps listed.
- Alternatively, return the item to any U.S. Apple Store. Your refund will be processed at that time. Contact your Business Team to initiate a return for orders shipped directly to your business.
How much costs shipping and when will be my order delivered?
Apple offers free next-day and two-day shipping for most in-stock items.
Customized Mac computers, engraved products, and certain order types are not eligible for free next-day or two-day shipping.
In some areas, faster delivery options for an additional fee are available, including same-day courier delivery and next-day delivery.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed on the checkout page.
